hallo liebe Ubuntuuser
Tut mir leid wenn es das Thema schonmal gab jedenfals hat nichts geholfen was ich bei der suche gefunden habe. Also ich habe windows 8 auf einer ssd installiert unter einem uefi system.
Sda1 ist die efi partition sda2 und co alles andere von windows
Nun habe ich auf der hdd ubuntu installiert.
Sdb1 root sdb2 home sdb3 swap
Leider scheint grub nicht ohne holfe zu starten.
Es startet immer wieder windows.
Das programm boot repair hat nicht geholfen. Wie komme ich nun weiter bitte hilft mir ☹

Hast du EFI Installieren beachtet? Und ist das Medium, auf dass du GRUB 2 installiert hast, auch das erste Startmedium im UEFI?

Für die bootloader ibstallation habe ich sda ausgewählt und wenn ich F12 drücke (bootmenü) kann ich auch ubuntu auswählen und ich komme ins grub und kann ubuntu oder windows normal starten Nur das automatische starten von grub funktioniert nicht.danke für eure hilfe.

Hi, solche Ausgaben gehören als Text (via copy+paste) in einen Codeblock und nicht als Bild angehängt 😉 Also, bitte nochmal machen - am besten, wir lesen auch noch den NVRAM aus, also bitte mit sudo apt-get install efibootmgr das Programm zum Auslesen installieren und dann die Ausgabe von sudo efibootmgr -v posten.

efibootmgr wurde als manuell installiert festgelegt.
Die folgenden Pakete wurden automatisch installiert und werden nicht mehr benötigt:

Verwenden Sie »apt-get autoremove«, um sie zu entfernen.
0 aktualisiert, 0 neu installiert, 0 zu entfernen und 4 nicht aktualisiert.

Das kam bei dem ganzen raus dachte eig. ich hätte es schon heute mittag gemacht anscheinend war Internet kurz down sry ^^ Gibt es hier eig. keine Spoiler?

beim Bios ist Windows nicht auf erster stelle zuerst kommt die festplatte wo Grub drauf ist und cd laufwerk.
Wie es oben ausschaut, ist es das aber...Ich bin verwirrt. Ich werd mich mal genauer informieren bin die Hilfestellungen bei Ubuntu immer nur überflogen.

mach mal zur Probe noch nen weiteren Neustart - ich bin mir nämlich nicht ganz sicher, ob der Befehl nur einmalig greift oder ob das dauerhaft so bleibt.
Hab gerade deinen Post gelesen - ok, kein Problem - um es dauerhaft zu machen, gibst du sudo efibootmgr -o 0001,0000,2001,2002,2003 ein, danach sollte es eigentlich fix sein.

Lies dir bitte noch mal efibootmgr durch. Du mustt die Bootreihenfolge permanenet ändern, mit dem Befehl sudo efibootmgr -o 1,0,2001,2002,2003, , dann wird fortan Grub als erstes gestartet.

dass das so auch greift, das wußte ich gar nicht - ich hab das immer ausgeschrieben, also mit den "Nullen" vorne dran. Nüüh ja, auch wieder was gelernt 👍
