Hallo zusammen,
ich versuche meine gute alte mbox2 USB-Soundkarte unter frisch installiertem & upgedatetem Bionic zum Laufen zu kriegen.

Diese sollte eigentlich schon seit 2012 von ALSA unterstützt werden.
PulsAudio läuft, mit den internen Soundkarten funktioniert ALSA auch:

Die Soundkarte wird als USB-Device erkannt, das entsprechende Kernelmodul geladen:

2 Dinge habe ich nach Lesen des Wikis schon getan: Manuell die Datei snd-usb-audio mit vid & pid der USB-Karte erstellt und meinen user zur Guppe audio hinzugefügt:
