Hallo zusammen,
ich betreibe einen Server mit Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Da die Version ja noch einige Zeit supported wird, möchte ich momentan ungern upgraden, sondern dies zu einem späteren, für mich günstigeren Zeitpunkt machen.
Nun habe ich auf dem Server u.a. ownCloud installiert (in der aktuellen Version 8.1.4). Dort bekomme ich auf der Web-Oberfläche von ownCloud eine Warnung:

Wenn ich die Versionen von openSSL und cURL checke, ergibt sich folgendes:

openSSL ist also in der neueren (und für ownCloud ausreichenden) Version 1.0.2d installiert, wohingegen cURL angibt, die Version 1.0.1 zu nutzen.
Hat jemand eine Idee, woran dies liegen könnte und wie ich cURL dazu bringen könnte, die auf dem System vorhandene Version von openSSL zu nutzen? Gibt es eine Alternative zum Kompilieren? Ich habe dieses PPA gefunden, weiß aber nicht, ob sich die Verwendung empfiehlt: https://launchpad.net/~apokluda/+archive/ubuntu/curl
