Habe mittlerweile folgendes herausgefunden:

KMplayer zeigt lupenreines Videobild über Composite oder S-Video.

Alsamixer zeigt für "Gerät: Grabster AV 350" u. "Chip: USB Mixer" ein "Line" für Aufnahme, keines für Wiedergabe.

PulseAudio Manager zeigt unter

Kann hier einer der Experten weiterhelfen, wie ich von hier den Video-Sound vom Grabber über den Computer wiedergeben bzw. aufnemhen kann???

Possible reasons, problems, workarounds:
- Most common: broken/buggy _audio_ driver
  - Try -ao sdl or use the OSS emulation of ALSA.
  - Experiment with different values for -autosync, 30 is a good start.
- Slow video output
  - Try a different -vo driver (-vo help for a list) or try -framedrop!
- Slow CPU
  - Don't try to play a big DVD/DivX on a slow CPU! Try some of the lavdopts,
    e.g. -vfm ffmpeg -lavdopts lowres=1:fast:skiploopfilter=all.
- Broken file
  - Try various combinations of -nobps -ni -forceidx -mc 0.

PulseAudio erlaubt "monitoring" via pavucontrol. Vllt geht es damit.

Generell glaube ich, dass es eine schlechte Idee ist bei laufendem PulseAudio ALSA-Devices direkt anzusprechen. Aber ich verwende gar kein PulseAudio, von daher ist das nur ins Blaue geraten.

Du kannst es ja auch mal bei beendetem PA versuchen (autospawn beachten!).

Danke pepre für die Hinweise.

Habe das ganze WE probiert, gegoogelt und versucht mich über alsa und pulseaudio schlauzumachen. Zunächst PulsAudio gepurged was nichts gebracht hat. Dann wieder eingespielt und alles mögliche ausprobiert und hatte gestern Abend sogar ein kurzes Erfolgserlebnis:

Habe mit folgendem Befehl, trotz (oder gerade wegen?) installiertem PulseAudio, den Sound des Videos über den USB-Grabber aufnehmen können

Trotz meiner Notizen kann ich das jedoch leider nicht mehr wiederholen! 😠 Habe mittlerwele versucht pulseaudio wieder zu purgen, wobei ich mir nicht sicher bin, ob mir das zur Gänze gelungen ist bzw etwas kaputt gemacht habe.

M.E. müsste doch das Audiosignal über folgendn Befehl aufzunehmen sein:

Alsamixer erkennt die Karte auch als Aufnahmegerät und steht auf 100%.

Es fehlt irgendeine Einstellung, die das Audiosignal von der USB-Karte übernimmt, nur ich kenne keine weiteren Einstellungsmöglichkeiten in ALSA.

Mit dem Videosignal habe ich keine Probleme.

Um weiterführende Ratschläge von hier wäre ich dankbar, zumal die Audioaufnahme sogar einmal funtionierte!

OK, das modprobe setting war falsch. Für jeden, der das gleiche Problem hat, siehe

die Krücke heisst Grabby (while in the meantime I turned crabby):

anstelle der richtigen Karte

Offensichtlich funktioniert mit diesem setup nur der mencoder zuverlässig, bei avconv & ffmpeg muss nach jeder Aufnahme die og Befehle erneut ausgeführt werden um den Ton mit aufzunehmen.

Da es offensichtlich in absehbarer Zeit keine bessere Lösung geben wird, setze ich den thread auf gelöst (oder könnte der nächste Kernel update eine Lösung beinhalten? I won't hold my breath!).
