Mal testen ob es geht.

MechCommander 1 war ein klasse Spiel, dafür würd es sich lohnen. Hat es jemand erfolgreich getestet?

Bei mir funktionieren die Spiele leider nicht ! ☺

Hab Heute Mechcomander1 mit Cedega 5.2.6 installiert und gespielt. Speichern und Laden geht, auch die Videos ingame und Intro gehen ohne Probleme. Kleine negative Sache man muss manuell einen link in Cedega eintragen und das es beim reinzoomen in die Map kurz hackelt. Der Sound knackst auch etwas, aber sonst läuft es einwandfrei. 😀

Ich durchschau es nicht ganz ob das eine offizielle Seite ist oder nicht... Ist es legal die Spiel runterzuladen?

Mech Commander war früher doch recht spaßig... 😉

Scheint wohl legal zu sein, zumindest verweisen diverse Seiten und Foren alle auf die genannte Homepage. Wärs illegal wäre die Domain auch etwas auffällig 😉

MechCommander 2 essentially became freeware when Microsoft released the source code for it for public download. This now means that anyone can compile their own versions of MechCommander 2. The version we offer is a direct copy of the original game cd, but still has the copy protection intact. Therefore anyone wishing to use our version needs to obtain their own no-cd patch, which we do not provide.

MechCommander and MechCommander Gold were published by and copyright of Microprose, a company which no longer exists to our knowledge. Since the sequel to these games (MC2) is now freely available in source code form, these two games have essentially become abandonware. We have attempted to contact Microsoft (the owners of Fasa and the Mecha license) to obtain official permission to host the games, but have received no response.

I hope this clarifies the situation.
