der Epson Stylus Color 600 wurde prima erkannt, druckt auch, aber immer ganz oben auch das Kuerzel:

284.4
@EJL

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das verhindern kann?

Mich wundert etwas, dass er offenbar als gelöst markiert wurde, aber eine wirkliche Erklärung nicht vorliegt.
Aber vielleicht hilft dir der Thread trotzdem.

Es hat irgendwie was mit den Kommandos zu tun, die der Drucker bekommt:

Er loest das Problem da auch irgendwie, aber wie, das habe ich noch nicht verstanden:

I'll probably never post here again, but thought I'd leave this note for Ron...I got my problem solved by deleting the printer from the control panel and then installing the printer as an FX850...The XP driver for that printer makes the 880+ work like a charm ;

Hmmm, scheint also auch nicht linux-spezifisch zu sein....
