Hallo Leute,

ich habe vor ein paar Tagen meinen Laptop von der 22.04 auf die 23.04 upgedatet mit do-release-upgrade -m desktop. Soweit hat auch alles funktioniert, zumindest lief das Update durch ohne Fehler. Allerdings zeigt mir lsb_release -a immer noch die Jammy Version an.

Ein sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade bringt auch nix neues. Ein dist-upgrade oder full-upgrade hift auch nicht.

Davon abgesehen, daß das kein Update, sondern ein Distupgrade ist - wie wir ja alle wissen, werden solche Sprünge nicht unterstützt. Wer's dennoch macht, bekommt Unbill inkl.

Dann frag doch einfach anders ab:

In die Datei kannst Du quasi nach Laune 'reinschreiben, was dann so ausgegeben wird. Es gibt mehrere Stellen im OS, wo die Distributionsversion hinterlegt ist. Je nach Abfrage kann man unterschiedliche Ausgaben erhalten. So habe ich bspw. nur nach einer bestimmten Abfrage in einer von Antergos zu EndeavourOS umgebogenen Installation noch jahrelang erstere Ausgabe gehabt, bis ich das gefunden habe (ist auch nicht schlimm gewesen, eher amüsant und Erinnerung).

Da Du ja nun 23.04 hast, mußt Du eh in spätestens 3 Monaten wieder distupgraden. Da sollte das dann automatisch überschrieben werden.

So funktioniert das mit den Zwischenversionen, alles andere gibt Bruch. Das hatten wir hier schon häufiger! ☹

22.04 → 22.10 → 23.04

22.10 ist tot, deswegen ist das vermutlich "schief" gegangen.

Ich würde eine komplette Neuinstallation mit 23.10 machen. "Ende mit Schrecken ..."
