Benutz doch einfach xrandr, erstell dir ein Script und mache ein Tastaturkürzel.
Wenn ich bei mir Strg + Alt + 1 drücke, mache ich meinen HDMI Monitor an,
Mit Strg + Alt + 2 geht er aus.
Mit Strg + Alt + 3 geht mein HD Fernseher an.
Und mit Strg + Alt + 4 aus.
Tipp in die Konsole
xrandr
ein. Bei mir steht dann sowas:

Dann erstellst du eine Datei mit folgendem Inhalt:
#!/bin/bash
xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 1920x1080
Dieses Beispiel macht den HDMI1 output mit 1920x1080 Pixeln an.
#!/bin/bash
xrandr --output HDMI1 --off
Dieser code macht ihn wieder aus.
Dann machst du noch ein
chmod +x datei
Damit die Datei ausführbar gemacht wird.
In den Systemeinstellungen gehst du nun unter Tastatur und machst dort ein Tastaturkürzel, das diese Datei aufruft.
Fertig ist das Problem ☺
