Hallo Liebe User, ich habe ein Netbook eCafe und habe Ubuntu 9.04 installiert. Leider wird mir die benötigte Auflösung die ich bräuchte nicht angeboten. Jetzt ist es so, dass ich den unteren Teil des Deskopts nicht sehe. Wie kann ich da noch was ändern?

Ich habe 3 Auflösungen zur Verfügung die aber alle nicht passen...!!!

Hallo doob81,

du kannst Fenster mit gedrückter ALT-Taste verschieben, um auf nicht mehr sichtbare Schaltflächen zuzugreifen.

Um deine Auflösungsprobleme lösen zu können, wären ein paar weiter Angaben hilfreich. Welche native Auflösung hat der Bildschirm. Hänge bitte außerdem die Dateien "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" und "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" hier an.

Ich habe mit Geode Chips bisher noch keine Erfahrung, du bist der erste der mir damit über den Weg läuft. Die bei dir konfigurierte Bildschirmauflösung müsste momentan 800x600 sein. Kannst du bitte mal die Ausgabe von folgendem Befehl posten: xrandr

Als Auflösung deines Bildschirms gibts du 800x480 an, das ist dann auch die Auflösung die du einstellen möchtest?

Ich habe Xubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala installiert und dasselbe Problem mit der Auflösung der Geode-LX-Grafikkarte. Xubuntu liefert 800x600, der kleine Bildschirm kann aber wohl nur 800x400. Das steht im Xorg.0.log:

Eine xorg.conf gibt es in Karmic nicht mehr. Und xandr gibt folgendes aus:

Probiert bitte mal aus die Farbtiefe auf 16bit zu setzen → xorg.conf

Also die Farbtiefe ist bei mir schon auf 16 Bit:
