Der ist bei Plasma irrelevant, da die Pakete schon bei Erscheinen veraltet sind, zumal universe benötigt wird und da LTS eher schlecht ist. Seit Kubuntu nicht mehr „offiziell“ ist, sondern ein gleichbedeutendes Derivat wie MATE, Budgie & Co., ist LTS nur noch für Standard-Ubuntu mit GNOME relevant (insofern man mit den Paketen aus main und restricted zurechtkommt).

Nutzt du Wayland oder X11?

X11 mit Nvidia 455.

Und das funktioniert problemlos? Ich lese des öfteren Probleme mit NVidia. Würdest du deine xorg.conf (wenn du mit nvidia-settings eine angelegt hast) hier anhängen und die Ausgabe von

qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin supportInformation

dann habe ich was funktionierendes zum Vergleich.

Die Ausgabe habe ich angehängt und eine 'xorg.conf' habe ich nicht.

Mein Upgrade von Kubuntu 20.04 auf 20.10 hat wegen vielen PPAs und dem Kwin-lowlatency zwar etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit erfordert, aber auch die reine Grundfunktion vom do-release-upgrade hat mir sofort ein wieder weiterbenuztbares frisches Kubuntu gebracht. Nutze auch den nvidia-driver und X-Server.

Steht doch in den Kommentaren, bzw. einfach die URLs aufrufen zum nachschauen, deswegen habe ich die ja direkt in den Konfigurationseinstellungen. Damit auch selbst mal nachschauen kann, falls ich mich nicht mehr genau erinnere was ich da bloß angestellt habe.

Das einzige was nicht sonderlich erklärbärt ist, ist der Eintrag um den JIT Compiler vom Berkeley Paket Filter für alle User zu härten:

net.core.bpf_jit_harden=2
