der Zweitmonitor ist meist abgeschaltet (mangels Schalter durch Steckerziehen). Wenn ich ihn dann brauche, sollte er sich durch Stromzufuhr "melden", tut er aber nicht.

Anschluß erfolgt über das Displayport der Dockinstation (Lenovo T520 → mini-dock-series-3

Kein xrandr --auto noch xrandr --output {HDMI-1,2,DP-1,2} --auto --right-of LVDS bewirken das Initialisieren des Monitors. Nur, wenn der Monitor beim Starten des PC angeschlossen/eingeschaltet ist, wird er erkannt und benutzt.

Schließe ich allerdings am DP des Laptops (nachträglich!) an, funktioniert das tadellos.

Hat jemand 'ne Idee, wie ich das auch am DP des mini-dock erreichen kann?
