Guten Tag.

Ich nutze Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 und bin bisher sehr glücklich damit. Win 8.1 befindet sich zwar noch im Dualboot auf meinem Notebook, ist aber eigentlich nur noch eine blasse Erinnerung für mich, obwohl ich Ubuntu erst seit etwa einem Monat nutze.

Ein Problem habe ich aber mit Gnome von Anfang an. Wenn ich in meinem Firefox-Browser scrolle, bildet sich diagonal, von links oben bis rechts unten, eine Art "Falte". Man muss es sich optisch so vorstellen, als würde man eine Klarsichtfolie diagonal falten und dann wieder ausbreiten, der Knick wäre dann zu sehen. Es ist auch nur der Scroll-Bereich betroffen, also nicht der Bereich, in dem sich z.B. Menü, Tab-Reiter und Symbolleiste befindet. Scrolle ich ganz langsam, zeigt sich die Falte überhaupt nicht. Je schneller ich dann scrolle, desto deutlicher ist die Falte zu sehen. Es scheint auch ein reines Browser-Anliegen zu sein. Ich habe gerade nochmal getestet, ob es sich auch beim scrollen in anderen Anwendungen zeigt. Dem ist aber, jedenfalls momentan, nicht so. Ich hatte vor Gnome, jeweils für ein paar Tage, Ubuntu 16.04 und auch Xubuntu 16.04. Da hatte ich dieses Problem nicht.

Da ich immer noch ein Linux-Anfänger bin, weiß ich eben nicht, ob es ein Gnome-, Treiber- (wovon ich dann überhaupt keine Ahnung hätte) oder Browser-Problem ist. Ich suche immer wieder in verschiedenen Foren, ob jemand ein ähnliches Problem hat, finde aber nichts. Vielleicht kennt ja jemand von Euch dieses Problem, weiß einen Rat oder kann mir einen Schubs in die richtige Richtung geben. Das wäre echt toll.

Ich habe jetzt mal entsprechende "ls" Befehle eingegeben. Wie gesagt, konnte ich die gewünschten Dateien nicht finden, aber vielleicht bin ich ja auch etwas blind:

Könnte evtl damit zusammenhängen dass GDM den X Server jetzt doch mit User Rechten startet... dann könnte sich das ganze auch in ~/.local/share/xorg befinden.

sowie

und

und zeige auf Verdacht

Irgendwas stimmt an der Installation nicht. Woher hattest du das ISO?. Hast du mit DVD oder USB-stick installiert? Und wenn USB wie hast Du den Stick erstellt?

Das ISO stammt von der offiziellen Ubuntu-Gnome-Seite. Ich habe es auf eine DVD gebrannt, im Live-System ausprobiert und dann installiert. Es gab auch keinerlei Schwierigkeiten (z.B. Fehlermeldungen) bei der Installation.
